Partnership with mfi management für immobilien AG 7 Addition of more than 450 screens across Germany / Public video network boasts a reach of one billion video views per week
This August, Ströer will reach another milestone in its efforts to expand its public video network by adding more than 450 digital screens in the shopping centers of mfi AG. As a result, an unparalleled network with more than 3,500 screens in total that boasts a reach of one billion video views per week at train, subway and rapid-transit stations as well as shopping centers will be available to advertisers for video campaigns. Approximately 2,200 of these screens are located in German shopping centers. The receptive behavior of visitors to shopping centers and an average stay that is quite long translate into a high contact density. This provides excellent reinforcement to the stimulus of advertising messages, which are perceived favorably.
With the new screens, it will be possible to reach three million visitors every week at the 16 mfi centers across Germany and some 95 million video views.
“With Ströer, we have gained a marketing partner that boasts a strong presence and the most innovative approach in the field of digital media,” says Frank Pöstges-Pragal, head of marketing at mfi management für immobilien GmbH. “Integrating our screens into the leading public video network creates new and improved marketing opportunities for our centers.”
“In addition to a regional marketing focus, we are now opening up the mfi centers to national advertising customers as well. Thanks to the expansion of the public video network, the entire ‘shopping center’ touchpoint is becoming strategically more important as an advertising location, especially for national campaign customers,” says Alexander Fürthner, managing director of Infoscreen. “Our public video network stands for quality, reach and attention thanks to an optimal selection of locations at those touchpoints with the strongest frequency.”
In early 2015, Ströer introduced new ways to book advertising on the public video network that enable comprehensive planning for video campaigns. This is made possible from a technical standpoint by connecting the play-out system to an ad server, which automates and simplifies the booking and reporting processes for public video advertising media.
