Miriam Hollstein to join as chief political correspondent / Sebastian Späth also appointed to strengthen the team
The editorial department at t-online is expanding its journalistic activities and setting up a Berlin office for its coverage of German federal politics within the reporting and research team. The team is led by Managing Editor Sven Böll. Miriam Hollstein will join the Berlin office as chief political correspondent in February 2022, while Sebastian Späth has been appointed as political correspondent with effect from November 1. The office in Germany’s capital will have six correspondents in total.

Miriam Hollstein’s most recent role before moving to t-online was chief political correspondent for the newspapers of Funke Mediengruppe. Before that, she held the same role at Bild am Sonntag.
Sebastian Späth worked at Der Spiegel and Handelsblatt after attending the German School of Journalism. Most recently, he was an editor at Stern.
