Breakout Ad

The breakout ad works with an innovative scroll-driven technology that makes it possible to react to user interactions and thus generate natural attention.

Desktop functionality:  
The creative initially is displayed within a regular sticky sitebar.

The ad recognizes the scrolling and starts a small overlay animation in which elements break out of the layout and overlay the content. After 4 seconds, the overlay returns to the ad and encourages the user to click to experience more. 

On click, the sitebar moves to a fullscreen overlay and offers the large-scale option of integrating videos, texts and interactive HTML elements.

Mobile functionality:  
The entire ad is displayed within a regular mobile halfpage ad (300x600). The creative does not initially use the entire area of the slot. By scrolling a 3D parallax animation starts, which gives the impression that individual elements "break out" of the ad slot. This is a purely visual breakout effect.

 

This format can only be booked with full-service, meaning that Ströer will be producing the ad.

Specifications

Please provide us with the assets listed below. Otherwise we cannot guarantee a start at the agreed campaign starting date.

In this case, we need the following assets 20 working days before the start of the campaign:

  • Copy
  • Visuals (preferably high-resolution, if possible PNG)
  • Product images, cropped if possible
  • If available, the CI or style guides
  • The fonts as a file (e.g. ttf)
  • Logo, in the best possible quality
  • Product shots / visuals (cropped if possible)
  • Typo files incl. license
  • Existing campaign motifs
  • Texts, CTA buttons, distractors, etc. 
  • KPIs (e.g. branding, sales, etc.)
  • Product/campaign claim (as short and concise as possible)
  • Target URL
  • Examples of produced ads, style guides, etc.
  • The storyboard, if applicable
